The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
